Oak Meadow Montessori encourages multi-cultural enrollment and fosters an environment that is respectful of the differences and similarities of our students. We enroll students of all races, religions, and national origins. We encourage our parents and students to explore the diversity of human culture through our program.
The first step to enrolling your child is to schedule a tour by clicking on the “Request a Video Visit” option at the top of this page. Expect to spend about an hour with our Executive Director or Director of Admissions, during which time we will discuss what you are looking for in your child’s education and what OMMS has to offer. You will visit each of our classrooms to learn about our curriculum and how interacting with the scientifically designed materials helps children become engaged in their own learning.
At the end of the tour, you will receive a link to our online application. When you submit the application and the $75 per child nonrefundable application fee, your child will enter our “waiting pool”.
When we have an opening in one of our classrooms, we will select children from the pool based on gender, age, and whether they have siblings currently enrolled and invite them for a visit. They will meet with one of our teachers to assess the most appropriate program and ensure a good fit between the school, family, and the children. Applicants for the Elementary program will visit the school for one to two school days, without their parent present.
After reviewing the visit with staff, an administrator will notify families of program availability and acceptance into Oak Meadow Montessori School. Children are officially enrolled once the necessary online enrollment forms are completed, and the enrollment fee has been paid.
