Ms. Carrie Bailey

Lead Primary Teacher

Ms. Carrie Bailey is excited to take the role of lead teacher this year in the Primary 2 classroom. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/Sociology from Guilford College and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked as a school media specialist in a private K-8 school in Virginia, a traditional preschool teacher in Texas, and as a program support specialist at a non-profit camp for children with type 1 diabetes in Georgia. She was first introduced to Montessori when her oldest daughter (who is now 18) was in a Montessori preschool and decided to pursue this as a career in early 2016. She recently received her primary certification at the Pan American Montessori Society at Kennesaw State University in May 2017. Today, she lives in Snellville, GA with her husband, two teenage daughters, and two dogs.
