Ms. Dominica Ramirez

Upper Elementary Teacher

Ms. Dominica Ramirez is a Lead Teacher in the Lower Elementary class. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Anthropology from Louisiana State University. She started working at Oak Meadow as a parent volunteer and was inspired to pursue formal teacher training. In the summer of 2016, she received her Montessori Elementary Teacher Certification from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Her daughter, Minerva, is in the Upper Elementary class and her son, Mars, is the Lower Elementary. Her husband, David Dorrell, has been volunteering at the school for the past five years and enjoys listening to the children read aloud.
