Ms. Lynn Nehez

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Ms. Lynn Nehez is a Co-Founder, Owner, and the Executive Director of Oak Meadow Montessori School. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from Georgia State University. She pursued a career in computer data processing for nearly 10 years prior to co-founding Oak Meadow. She decided to obtain her AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Primary level certification at the Montessori Institute of Atlanta in 2005 to achieve a better understanding of the Montessori Method. Her desire to be a more effective mentor for parents and teachers led her to assume the role of Lead Teacher in the Primary classroom at Oak Meadow for three years. Recently, Ms. Lynn completed her AMI Montessori Elementary Diploma from the same Montessori Institute and obtained her Master of Education degree in Montessori Elementary Education from Loyola University in Maryland. She teaches Upper Elementary at Oak Meadow in addition to her responsibilities as Executive Director. She is married to Mr. Mike, the school’s co-founder and owner, and they have two adult children, David and Lucas, who attended Montessori through the 5th grade.
