Ms. Sylvie Vandiver

Lead Primary Teacher 

Ms. Sylvie Vandiver is the Lead Teacher in Primary 1. She attained her Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Geneva in Switzerland and later her AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Primary Level Diploma from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta in 2005. Before joining the Oak Meadow team in the summer of 2011, she taught at several Montessori schools in the area as an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher. Among her many qualifications, she has experience working with children with exceptionalities and is bilingual, speaking English and her native language, French. Her son Benjamin attends Oak Meadow in the Upper Elementary class and her son Matthew is in Primary 2. Her daughter Chloe also often works at Oak Meadow as an assistant in the summer.
